What Is Our Purpose?

School Council is an advisory body which offers opinions and advice on matters within the mandate of this Council. This advice is forwarded to the principal for consideration.

  • Provides input into the development of school improvement plans
  • Support and enhance the communication between school and home
  • Provide input on the code of conduct

PTA is a formal body that is intended to facilitate parental participation in school.

PTA aims to create additional opportunities for students to participate in activities and have access to equipment/instruments

Funds raised through our Super Bowl Raffle help purchase digital cameras, portable lighting, risers, graphing calculators, sports equipment, uniforms, and decrease extracurricular transportation and accommodation costs, etc.

Why get involved?

  • When parents are involved their children perform better in school.
  • Taking interest in education sends a positive message that school is a worthwhile cause.
  • Volunteers offer a huge support base for the school community while showing youth the value of participating.
  • Tap into trends, fads and activities of school life that can help you communicate with your kids as they grow.

How often do we meet?

School Council and PTA meet 6 times a year 5- 6pm and 7-8 pm respectively.
